Song survey (As of 06/06/06)

what song/band..

Reminds you of an ex-lover:
Pearl Jam - Last Kiss. Nothing significant, just the whole feel of the song. Either that or Foo Fighter's Walking After You. Dave Grohl is a genius.

Reminds you of your best friend:
The Kaiser Chiefs - Everyday I Love You Less and Less (she loved singing the "and my parents love me..and my girlfriend loves me" bit hehe)

Makes you cry:
Some of the jiwang emo songs, especially the Chinese ones. I like Leo Ku's "Ai Cheng Yu" or something like that. "i'd rather be your cat and your dog than to be your lover" or something along those lines..damn sad

Makes you laugh:
I don't think any song makes me laugh..unless it's damn stupid, which i can't really remember. Maybe that stupid "Welcome to India" from the Munjabi MC or something like that..heard it on my brother's laptop

Reminds you of the one you once wanted:
Lifehouse - Blind or The Low Millions - Statue

You wish you wrote:
Jewel's Hands, especially "Poverty stole your golden shoes, but it didn't steal your laughter; heartache came to visit me, i knew it wasn't ever after". That or any song written by Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins cause he's a damn good songwriter

You never want to hear again:
All the damned R&B/hiphop crap they play on radio

You want to get married to:
Ella Fitzgerald - Someone to Watch Over Me

You used to hate but now love:
Teddy Geiger - For You I Will (Confidence). The acoustic version, mind you. I hate the radio version

You like to wake up to:
I wake up to Emery's Walls everyday. Damn loud.

You like out of your parent's record collection:
Bee Gees.

You love that you wouldn't know about if it wasn't for a friend:
Peter Pan - Mungkin Nanti

Makes you think of someone who died:
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit. Don't know why. Maybe i think of it everytime I think of the (now deceased) Kurt Cobain

You sing in the shower:
Whatever's the last song I heard before I went into the shower. Lately it's been Panic At The Disco - Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off, cause it's my ringtone

You sing when you're alone:
UhM..anything that's in my head

You love the video more than the tune:
Smashing Pumpkins - Bullet With Butterfly Wings

Reminds you of your first crush:
Omg that's damn long ago..hmm.. Boyzone - Love Me For a Reason

You love which is from a movie:
The entire soundtracks from Empire Records, Hackers, Sliding Doors and the Virgin Suicides

Makes you think of the moon:
Shivaree - Goodnight Moon

Makes you think of stars:
Incubus - Stellar

Makes you think of the sun :
The Beatles - Here Comes the Sun

Makes you think of the night:
Silverchair - Across The Night

Makes you think of sex:
Incubus - Are You In (the video la) or Incubus - Here In My Room

Makes you think of being alone:
Damien Rice - Cold Water

Has only been released recently but you love already:
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars (from the "Eyes Open" album).
