went to berjaya times square after work yesterday to watch pirates of the carribbean 2. picked up three books from borders (for less than rm100! cause my friend's an employee there, so i got his staff discount) finally, some new books to devour!!!!

  1. the unbearable lightness of being by milan kundera
  2. a million little pieces by james frey
  3. the temple of the golden pavilion by yukio mishima

i've been meaning to read the unbearable lightness of being and a million little pieces for the longest time but i kept putting it off till now. as for the temple of the golden pavilion, it came as a recommendation from nee on, and i don't doubt his taste in books (or music, for that matter). i was reading the synopsis on the back of each book, and somehow they're all a bit similar. they're all dark, and philosophical (to some extent). should be enjoyable. i have just started reading the unbearable lightness of being and its darn interesting. i'm hooked. will review all three books later when i'm done reading them, probably by next week or something :)
